Good to hear from you KAW! CJ makes an awesome french toast stuffed with cream cheese....

HI PIB HI all,

Well the dentist turned out to be okay...just the beginning of a crack in that tooth...no work to be done until/when it becomes a bother (pain went away when I had lunch that day!).

Dentist was also amazed by what a good job Colgates' Simply White Nights did on my upper front teeth...remember my "experiment"? (leaving the bottoms their original yellow/grey)...He said I'd moved from the bottom of the colour list to near the top (for my tooth colour!) Then he politely suggested I might want to do the bottom teeth too.

I still like the contrast!

Let's see...went to D's grandma's funeral on Friday. A Jehova Witness service, my first one. Then they came here and we ordered some nice curry and black bean chicken for dinner.

Saturday CJ and I decided to drive State side...I wasn't feeling all that well and wound up in the back seat belching all the way home. (we drove 4 hours up and 4 hours back to go find some decent sea food!).

Sunday we were both wiped out and just layed around. Monday (a civic holiday here) we drove out to a newly opened suspension bridge over a Canyon to our north.

I was wondering why the hike up hill seemed harder than usual...duh...I'm lugging 20 pounds of fat I didn't have a couple of years ago. But we made it and the views were terrific (there are two bridges).

Ran into a fellow with three kids who was TERRIFIED of the bridges...poor guy...kept yelling at the kids..."don't get too far ahead of me!"...hands white knuckling the side rails.

We waited until they were off before purposely setting that bridge to swinging like mad! It was FUN!!!

So needless to say, it's been a good few days, with the exception of my health off and on (hip and headache today).

Okay before I head down to throw the laundry into the dryer...here are some positives:

- CJ is a very considerate person...he's been tip-toeing around in the mornings when I'm still asleep, even though I told him (and again today) that he doesn't have to do that!

- He bought McD's breakfast for me on Mon and left it in the Oven for when I woke up

- he scraped the bug bodies off the windshield of my car

- he thanked me a bunch of times for the great dinner last night (simple: sauteed Tilapia filets, rice and green beens).

Honestly folks...if the sex thing was a problem with his hypothalamus...no sex drive, nothing to be done...I could probably live with it. But apparently it's NOT...and it just tears me up that this vital element is willfully missing.

Oh, yeah, Ellie, CJ looked up hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and it IS related to my surgeries for IBD. More later!
