Thank you for thinking of me. I think I am ready to work on a list. I noticed yesterday I was starting to think of doing things again and not just wishing D was still here so we could go do them together. Feels like a step in the direction of healing.
I can't believe you have only crossed off a couple of things.
I have never known anyone who climbed a mountain.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed following you preparing for your climb and then when you came back and talked about it.

"We must be willing to let go of the life we had planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us"
Holy cow is it hot here...Canada gets HOT in the summer! My deck thermometer is reading 90 in the shade. I'm not built for heat. Well, not this kind anyway!
CJ and I saw the cutest little Sheltie at the Dragon Boat races on Sat. Made me think of you and your guys. When you first started posting I wasn't sure what a sheltie looks like, but now I get the whole grooming thing!
And I WAS wearing a tank top in the photos, but a dark red one (like the car)...didn't buy the tie-dye til the next day.
Okay, I think I've cooled off enough to start sauteeing the fillings for tonights quiches.
What's to drink with dinner? I am living vicariously through you as I don't open anything anymore. Don't want to waste it and can't drink a whole bottle.
The shelties are pretty good with their grooming. We even have a chair that is the dental chair.

I think after our rather large purchase last week, we'll make do with a glass of el-cheapo California blush.
Red peppers, garlic, onion, celery and broccoli are sauteed and cooling...just need to grate the cheese, snip some fresh herbs and whip up the egg filling when CJ gets home.
Shelties are BEAUTIFUL...the one who enamored us was named "Bailey" what a sweet pup. She was really small, though, the runt of the litter they said. About the size of our cats, actually!
So how do you know CHL is planning to marry J? Just wondering what "kind" sould decided to share that with you. All I can say on that front is something you already know: Wait till the honeymoon is over.....
And CHL, I'm disappointed, frankly. IF it's true, it's just yet ANOTHER repetition of a pattern that apparently doesn't work all that well: Have an A with a married woman, she gets divorced, he rushes to M...no time for either to sort out stuff ON THEIR OWN...not the best life plan, huh?
I think YOU stand a MUCH better chance of a good and lasting R in the future.
The California blush sounds like a nice pleasant glass.
Hope CJ appreciates what sounds like a very good dinner.
My old lady Breeze is probably smaller than your cats! She weighs 11.4 lbs and is like 13 inches tall.
I am prejudiced but I do think they are beautiful.
Actually CHL told me that he was probably going to marry J. But in his case that is about as close to a yes as you get. So it was direct from the horse's mouth so to speak.
I don't really see this as working for him, but it might, if he is careful to walk the line, she will be pleasant and it may work better than I think it will.
You can certainly say that again. Not the way my life will ever go again!
At this point in time I do not see another R in my future, a bit gun shy if you will. But since I am learning to stand on my own IF there is a R in my future it is going to be a lot different for me!!!

I was thinking about the list you posted to me about and wondering is it small and big things or just supposed to be big things or are there any guidelines at all?
I believe I may start working on a list.

Along the lines of something I would like to do, nothing big here, is bike ride again.
Does anyone know if some parks rent bikes? I don't have one and haven't ridden one for years!!!!!!! But would like to do so again.
Sage keeps posting about hiking and thinking that is something I might like to try also. I mean before my time was always spent horse back riding so these would be new things that would still get me out and about.
