Hi H2H! Yes, regardless of what happens or doesn't happen, I think it was really a good thing to connect on a level deeper than surface with someone of the opposite gender.
Re checking in with H...Well, I sent him a b-day card which should have arrived over the weekend, and a present that should arrive tomorrow. I think I've made it clear that I'm thinking of him and family and am here if he needs me. Maybe he needs GF more right now (I know that's an ASSumption). Last time I talked to him he told me he couldn't bear to talk about it anymore, so I sent an email on other topics that I thought might cheer him just a little. So I feel like I have reached out, but I don't want to be intrusive.
