But don't you think that segregating perceived American values vs. those perceived to exist in the international community isn't a touch, well, bigoted? Not to mention out of touch? And labeling?
We're all part of the human race. And I found the letter intriguing. I'm also a practicing Roman Catholic who possesses views of more ethereal spirituality. I think that many (if not most) of us have unique beliefs that don't fit in the proverbial box.
And labeling people so that the Dx fits neatly isn't just assuming: it's wrong.
That, Pen, is your neighbor's opinion. I don't share it. But let's see what everyone else has to say. Personally, I thought it was thought provoking and a good way to approach the problem from a different perspective.
And most of us who are religious believe in a struggle of good vs. evil. Why not present the other side?
