Thanks all for the B-day wishes. Sorry for having to be brief here, but I need to concentrate on work this week. It really helped since I tried to keep my expectations low for lackluster recognition at home. Unfortunately, in that regard I was not disappointed. I came home to a frozen dinner, but D11 enthusiastically present a card and a big kiss. Inside the card was a dollar bill, so CAW couldn't even take D11 out to pick out something for her Dad. I took the card and the dollar and displayed them on my dresser. Told her its to remind me each day of what a great gift she gave me. At 8:00 pm. D19 text messaged me "Happy Birthday". Nothing from CAW. she was quiet the entire evening.

The following day, another restructing at work. I survived the ax again, but now I'm asked to extend the scope of my job even further than before. I've gone from a department supervisor to a plant super, to now a site super ... encompassing several buildings to keep tabs on during my watch.

Saturday, CAW moved out. She did ask if she could come back Sunday to do the laundry so she would have the rest of her clothes. I said fine. She spent most of the day and we watched the football game. Well, I watch, she fell asleep for most of it. I treated for dinner with a pizza. I then cleaned the kitchen, CAW only helped out by cutting out the coupon on the pizza box (collect 15 for a free pie) which I think she kept. I brought up D11's schedule for the week and we settled on her coming here after school on Wednesday and staying overnite into Thursday as she doesn't have school that day. Shortly after, CAW abruptly decided to leave without the last load still tumbling in the dryer.

Well, back to work. Probably won't get to spend much time on the bb until this weekend ... which I have to work thru. Will try to catch up when I can ...
