First of all, let me say, "Thank You!" for all the well-wishes and prayers.
I'm sorry to report that my absence here was due to spending his final days here on Earth with him and family and in the arranging of afar members of the family to be within a hug's reach ... culminating with attending his funeral yesterday ... and it has been so surreal to think of continuing on without being able to see him around.
Being a quiet and reserved man, it was amazing to see just how broad his touch was in so many lives and yet not surprising at all as he was such a kind and gentle soul.
Since I'm really not in the spirit of posting as of yet and I've already lost one attempt at this, I'm going to lurk for a while as there's plenty of reading to catch up on here. Just wanted to say Thank You once again for keeping us in your prayers and if you would ... please keep saying a prayer for CAW ... for she is one tormented soul right now ... and for her mother who is holding up well, but is none the less going thru an emotionally trying time as we all well know ... and with an anniversary of 49 years just a scant two weeks away, its going to be even more difficult for the near term. Please help pray that they and the rest of the family find peace for their loss. Thanks again.
