Hey Azure~ You, your dog, your BIL and your H are in my prayers!
I know it is hard to know what to do for H in this sitch. I remember when H's uncle had a heart attack...The D was almost final and I wasn't really part of the family anymore so I really didn't understand what my role should be. I ended up telling H if he needed to talk, I was "there". He actually took me up on it once!
Follow his lead....you are a good friend to him!!
