Mr. Wonderful installed one of them in our kitchen 2 years ago. I want another one installed in the girls' bathroom (it's on the inside without a window).
It doesn't leak and it works beautifully. It refracts against the tubing and puts out a lot of natural light. I love mine! We went for it after a friend installed 5-6 of them in her house with similar feedback.
Home Depot and Lowe's both sell them and you can hire the contractor directly from the store. I'd loan you Mr. W., but he's on hiatus for me on these types of things, so you can't have him until I get use of his bod for my own projects.
Good luck!

it is not something that has to be done ASAP - one of my long term projects - but I will find out how it holds up as I will have at least one installed - figure it will add to the value of the home too
Hey Pam - you post something about a dark house and right away you get some suggestions on how to deal with that - who said this was only a BB for marrital problems.
Weeelllll, I'm hoping to get him to stain the trim on the front windows, which were installed 2 years ago. You weren't thinking something lewd were you???
