Good Morning Livnlearn,

Thank you for the reminder to MAKE a nice day.

I'm sure I will get excited about my new home, it is just getting off to a bit of a rough start.

Lots of emotions involved! Fear of not being able to handle this pretty close to the top.

I do the same thing everyone else does when mom is upset, you avoid her if possible and if not you walk the line if you can. Try not to bring any wrath down upon yourself.

One time at the county fair when I was dating my first H, she was saying nasty things to me about him in front of him and he said something, nothing too bad, he was a very quiet person and she grabbed a pitch fork and went after him!

My uncle was afraid to try to go in and stop her and my dad wasn't there. I think finally a bunch of people that were around got it stopped. I don't suppose I will ever forget that, it is the kind of memory that stays with you.

Hi Slowly,

My realtor is sort of cool, sometimes she just, I think takes on more than she can do at a time!

Can we say overachiever! She taught high school for several years and I asked her if she likes the Real Estate job better.

She said yes, more challenging, but a lot LESS free time.

I just keep thinking about this house and I have just about decided I bought the wrong one.

It doesn't have much room in it and it also doesn't have many windows and I like light!

I mean on a rainy day I can tell my mood dips. I don't want to live in a dark house.

Why would I have picked a dark one? Maybe it didn't seem as dark when I was in it?

Of course my realtor turns lights on immediately when we walk into a house in every room.

pam - my house is dark too - but I figure that I can install some very interesting lights and I was also looking at a skylight - they even have skylights that can go through tubes from the roof to whatever room you want the light in.

as to the storage - can get a small storage unit for the back yard - and if it is small enough you can take it with you if you do move.

Remember - always look on the bright side of things.
and keep smiling.

Hi Odga,

Have you checked into cost on those tube skylight deals?

When they first came out David was reading article about them.

His best friend, (only), was involved in developing them something about the material that is used or the way they refract or something I don't remember now.

I am glad I get to go through the house again Saturday for the home inspection.

There is no place for my plants. Can't put them in the shed.

The bathroom is going to be tough to bath the shelties in I think as it looks very small.

Plus I think I am just looking at all the positives in the house I am in and the new one doesn't measure up.

I saw some ads in one of those home owners mags. I have the web page address for 2 of them at home - from what I remember they were about 350 or so installed.

Ms Pam -- Not to be invalidating but are you sure you just haven't come down with "buyer's remorse"?? It's a very well known illness -- striking about 24-48 hours after getting your offer accepted!

When h and I bought our house I suffered it too (after being totally in love with the house forever!). before we closed I drove past it about 10 times a day picking it apart (wrong street, wrong yard, etc).

Focus on the positives! I don't think they call it sunshine lane for nothing!

Well maybe I could squeeze one or two of those into my budget sometime.

I wonder if they hold up well and don't leak or anything.

Hi Ms. Sage,

I certainly hope that is what it is!!!

Actually my best guess is I am emotional over leaving our house, emotional over the problems with mom, PMSing, and scared of going it on my own!!!

I am guessing the house will work out pretty well. It had the main criteria I wanted.
