That's great!

Now you need to start taping all those episodes of Christopher Lowell to get decorating ideas for your new place - how exciting!

Hi Pam!

Congrats on the house!

I deleted the post with your address. It's really not a good idea to be posting it on a public site, my dear!

Emailing it to your friends here might be a better idea. That way, you have more control over who knows where you live. Much safer that way!

Hiya Pam!

I'm so excited for you!

I remember how terrified I was! What helped me was to breathe and know that this too could be broken down into baby steps.

I'm so excited that you are going to have your own place!

How wonderful!!

Hugs!

Hey slt, Ellie, Sage, JJ & PIB,

Thank you all so much for stopping by and the congratulations and encouragement.

I have felt very down today and just not sure why, the best I can come up with is because it is the final closing of this chapter of my life to be moving out of the home where I planned to share the rest of my life with David.

Also it appears my mom is giving my dad some flack and I am desperately hoping she doesn't interfere with him cosigning for me and loaning me a down payment. She would do this.

Why whenever something big happens in my life is she so angry and down putting about it?

I am not sure if she is speaking to me right now and I let dad know that possibly the home inspection would be this Saturday if they wanted to come down and see it. From his rather evasive answer is where I gathered my mother is "on the war path" as he always says.

So she isn't going to come and see my house. That is ok, if she just won't prevent me getting it.

So this is all very stressful and emotional.

I let David know today I was planning to pay some bills and if he wanted I would just get the total car insurance bill for this month as he did last month. He said that works for him. I later asked if I had upset him somehow, he said no why? I said just seemed you have been a bit short last couple of times I have needed to check something with you. He said still very frustrated with work, I have no idea what is going on. He has been frustrated with work for a week or so now. That is why he left work and came to the house last week. He also said he is fighting off a cold and if he doesn't feel well I KNOW he gets grumpy.

So I sent him a hope work gets lined out and that he gets to feeling better. It is easier now to treat him as just a friend. Not always easy, but better than it used to be. That is all we spoke today was car insurance and him frustrated and sick. He did thank me for the work and get to feeling better wishes.

But hey, I almost reminded him to take his vitamins!! I caught myself. He is a grown man now and doesn't need a mother. Although he likes to be mothered and fussed over when he is sick I think. He is that way when someone is sick.

Anyway, have to start checking on insurance now.

Told my realtor I was concerned about mom causing problems, then told her maybe I am just looking for something to worry about. She said well stop it don't worry! She wouldn't do that, then I reminded her this is the woman that didn't speak to me for 5 or 6 years and my dad, sisters or grand parents weren't allowed to speak to me after I got married the first time.

I had this e-mail from her when I got home this evening and think it is cute.

We will move on this as quickly as possible.
I have faxed paperwork to your Dad and I will send it along to Courtney Weds. Or whenever he faxes paperwork back to me.

Eat Chocolate ....it is a cure for almost everything!!

Always,

Beth

PS JJ didn't you want to come to my house warming in person?

Good Morning Pam!

Just wanted to say, the past is not a country you can visit, so keep looking ahead, at your wonderful NEW home, all the new possibilities with it. The fact that it is YOUR home to do with as you please.

Remember to MAKE a nice day!
