Odga -
seems to me she started coming around when she saw you dating - now you've stopped and she's backed off - maybe you should just start dating again?

Odga,

Just wanted to say HI! Boy, it's really a cat and mouse chase isn't it? I thought the games were over after HS. I guess that was one of many mistakes I made.

Odga,
I did not post to you yesterday, because I wanted to get my velvet 2 x 4 out!

I think holdingon and Pattie gave you good support! And just because there is a bump in the road, doesn't mean you can't go over or around it!

Focus on the positives instead of the negatives. Stay busy, pity-party is officially over!

Good Morning Odga,

It is nice to 'see' you again!

How is the house coming along?

I get to pick colors today. Should be fun. I have never done anything like that, still trying to figure out paint colors for rooms.

Good morning Pam - it does sound like fun to pick the colors and stuff. I also can pick my colors [of couse I then have to then pay to have it installed - ]

going to go back this morning and do more work - need to trim [weedeater] the yard - cut all the grass yesterday, vaccuum, backwash and shock the pool, and clean out the rest of the house - still have some junk there but mostly in the garage. I had previously moved my guest room furniture from a storage shed to the house and bought a new box springs and matress along with some new sheets and pillows so I now have one room ready. I spent my first night there on Friday night and heard things I have not heard in a long time (frogs and crickets)

Saturday after cutting the grass I got some things to fix the Master Bath toilet. I had noticed that it was empty and had guessed that it leaked. I was right. a little inspection showed that the leak was between the tank and the bowl so I went to the home store to get a tank to bowl kit (about $5.00 - I also got some new seats for both) and with a little effort I now have it working. I guess the last owners, along with not knowing what a dust rag was, did not have a pair of pliers, screwdrivers or any wrenches.

Of course most of my tools are still in the shed behind C's along with a bunch of my other things (and she said that she was in no hurry for me to get them) so I had to go to the home store (i.e. - the men's toy store) again to get a few more tools.

I also went over to C's and picked up my yard tools and everything else that I had over in her garage. Now the only things of mine that are over at C's that are not in the outdoor storage shed is a long extension ladder and a air hose reel that is screwed to the rafters of the garage.

My plan is to get the things from the outdoor shed after I move into the house and it is more in shape.

Well, as one of my supervisors where I use to work many years ago, told me, "let's get going, we are burning daylight"

See you later.

good morning all

I am making this post from my new home - I have a bunch more to do to get it like I want it but I am now in it. I still need to move the big stuff from my apartment (and also alot of small stuff that is not that important) but I have enough here now that I can get by and the apartment is only 6 miles away so I can go back and get anything I need if I have to.

As far as C is concerned. the last little upswing may have been a flash in the pan. While I was hoping that she was starting to want to work on us more (saying we need to have another good weekend and she was going to come over and spend the night with me soon, and that we need to go yard selling again, etc.) she has been very distant since last weekend and no contact at all this weekend.

While I was really hoping it would turn out different I have to believe that she likely will never want to do more than just want to see me once every other month or so. That is not enough for me.

I will keep myself busy and work on my new house and leave any doors open for anything new that comes along. I will be fine.

Odga,

i know you will be fine!

So what are all the projects you are doing for your new home?!

I'm pathetic, but coming here and reading is like reading a newspaper, only better!

Keep posting what you are up to!
