Hi Ogda~

Quote:

More like 4 or 5 times whenever I think about it) I really don't think that the timing is just coinsidence tho. And she has told me that she is thinking about me more - I am convenced that she is thinking about me in response to my prayers.

ME TOO!!

And I too, see that when I really "get into it with God" he comes through with a nudge and my phone will ring.

Sometimes I find myself getting angry with God that things are not happening fast enough or sometimes at all. I feel like XH and I are reading the same book, even in the same chapter, we just can't get on the same page.

Everything is there, we just need to take the leap of faith and make it happen. I pray for God to help XH feel safe and secure in himself and God to do that. I will add C to that request. Sounds like they are having many of the same thougths/fears.

Have a great day and Congrats on the house!

Blessings

Good morning all -

Well today may prove to be a downer. our Anniversary. Feel like that anything I do will be wrong. If I don't say anything she will be upset and if I do say anything it may be purusing. My gut feeling tho is to continue with letting her initate any contact and follow her lead.

On the new home front - new closing date is Friday morning at 10 and at present everyone seems to think it will go through then. Sellers wanted to postpone it til Monday but I get possession at closing and I need this weekend to do some cleaning up and initial moving so I said that I wanted to keep it on Friday.

Well I had better get to work - keep C and I in your prayers today. And I will keep Smiling.

Well no word from C yet today but I was in court all morning and according to the IM, she seems to be away from her desk - will see if she does IM later.

I did get some good news today - my mortgage brooker said loan is approved and rate set - closing is definate for Friday - but he needs to move it from 11 am to 2 pm - So looks like I will be busy this weekend cleaning up new home.

Well good morning all -

Yesterday was a bummer - our Anniversary and no contact from C at all. On top of that I have come down w/ a summer cold or something - runny nose, itchy eyes, achie mussles, Coughing, Sneezing, the whole works. When it rains it pours.

So I will think of some positives. C told me in my last phone call last Sunday night that we had some movies at her house that we needed to watch together, so something to look forward to.

Also closing on new home is locked and set for tomorrow @ 1:30 - I have taked off the whole day to start going through the house and getting it ready to move into.

C is going out of town this weekend to a business convention - told me she was going to take her sis. She was planning on leaving sometime today but I don'w know when - Wonder if she will call and say bye - If not I will continue to follow my plan of letting her initiate general contacts and if not then no contact. I may need to touch base with her to arrange to pick up some things at her house. She has said I could come over any time even if I do not call first but I don't feel right about going over unanounced.

Well better get ready for work -
Best wishes and prayers for all.

I am going to get the baptism of fire as to my hew home. It has a really big above the ground pool out back and when I made the offer it was empty and the liner was riped to shreads and tall weeds were growing out of the bottom. However the sellers did replace the liner and filled up the pool with water. Unfortunatly that is all that they did - no chemicals and did not turn on the filter pump. I went over yesterday afternoon and it is all green. I went to the pool supply place and got some chemicals to kill the algee and treat the water (over $150) and that is just for starters. It will be nice to get in and get it going tho.

rough day - went to the John Deer tractor place to pick up my lawn mower (will need it to cut the grass as the new home - it is almost waist high) haulded it around with me till closing at 1:30 - at closing it was found that the seller did not bring enough money to pay off the balance of her loan. (seems that there was a second mortgage lien for about $2,500 or so) Seller said she could get the rest of the money but by Thursday. My mortgage company would only close in escrow til Wednesday. the Seller said she would try to get the money by then and was fairly sure she could. If she does not come up with the money then we will have to reschedule closing for next Friday. I did get the key to the house tho so I can start doing some things there. Not going to spend too much money on the place til it is in my name tho but I am going to act AS IF this will go through.

I then went to the house and off loaded my riding mower and started cutting the front lawn but when I got off to pickup some trash about half way around the first time the mowere cut off (it is suppose to do that as a safty feature) but it would not start back up. (same thing that happeded to it last year and why I took it in to be fixed this time. Repair shop said they would come out tomorrow to fix it tho. I guess it is a good thing that I have my apartment til August 30th.

Will fill everyone in tomorrow night on the mower and later if the closing goes though.

I thought about you today and wondered how it went.

Hope it all gets lined out with no more problems.

Buying a house is NO FUN!

The sellers didn't want to take care of things so I'm not buying the one on Sunshine lane afterall.

hand in there Pam - you will find one that will be just right. My seller is really wanting to sell so she will come up with the money one way or the other - she has already given me the keys

Whew - I am tired - Closing was on Friday but Seller was hit with a suprise in that she needed more money at closing. So we signed all the papers and she has until Wednesday to come up with the money, otherwise it will be more interest for her and we will have to sign more papers with the different figures. Seller gave me the keys and the garage door openers and said I could go ahead and start moving some things in. Well, since the house is tech. not mine until she gets the rest of the money (and she said she would get it without any problem) I did not feel like I would move much into the place or spend any money fixing it up. I did buy some things that I would need at any place (lawnmower, trimer, etc.) and did start cleaning up (seller left it in a mess) and some other things. So all day Saturday and today I have been working around the new place. I should sleep well tonignt.

Also had a very plesant suprise - C called me as she was comming back into town from her weekend convention and we talked for about 15 minutes.

Even without the closing going completly through, I think it was a good weekend.
