Good can come from anywhere - one of the things I needed for the closing is the D Seperation agreement - I did not have a copy of it so I IM-ed C to ask her for a copy. in looking around she said she found 2 copies and said she likely had my copy too. She said she would fax me a copy and the only fax machine I have is used for outgoing and I did not know the number. I ended up calling her on the fax line so she could get the number from the caller ID and we talked alittle and I got her laughing some and it was a really nice convo.

The closing will come soon enough I guess.

another positive from today

I got me a utility trailer today at home depot (to help move the riding mower and some other things) and I went to the courthouse to get the tag. taped on the wall by the clerk that was helping me was a photo copy of an article called Bookmark Rules for Happy Living. a compilation of points from the Bible on how to be happy. I asked the clerk for a photo copy and she gave me one. One that struck me was point 13.

"Learn to practice the happiness habit. Learn to smile, and the world will smile with you (Philippians 4:4)

I will post the others from time to time.

Good morning Pam and all -

I was just noticing how I am now hearing a lot of people talk about SMILING lately.

I was listening to Fox News this morning (Your World w/ Neil Cavuto) and as Niel closed out the show he was talking about Ronald Regain and one of the things about him was that he always was smiling. He then went on to say that that is the mark of a great man - when you can smile in the face of adversity and when you are down.

Then my post from yesterday afternoon about seeing the list of rules for happy living. Hearing that song on the way to Destin that prompted the title to this thread. And several others - Is Someone trying to tell me somethig? (duh)

Food for thought -

Rule # 9 - Let nothing bother you. We let too many little things destroy our life. We even allow imaginary things to bother us (Philippians 4:7) ASSumptions anyone?

Everyone have a great day and keep working on yourselves.

How true! I for one need to get past that! Even in my sleep I come up with stuff.

Although I do put the stop sign up, I wish i could do better. I always assume too much.

This is going to take much work.

Although I try to see the good in things and try to see a happy ending. There is that pesty satan, trying to wisper in my ear. think I need toknock him off my shoulder!

Thanks odga, that was a good one! BTW do we get one of these everyday, I kind of like it!

don't know about every day - there are only 15 of them - but I guess it will not hurt to repete some.

Incidently - I just had to do a bad chore - had to let an employee go this morning - 2nd time to not come to work without calling in. and he did not come in because he had an appointment doing something else so he easily could have made arrangements before. (you have to be able to count on yoru employees) I hated to do that too in that he was a good employee in other areas and my clients liked him. And I was going to give him a raise next month.

Odga,
i too had to fire someone, same thing happened! She would not show, the thing is the library was closed when she didn't come in.

That is too bad that he will not get his raise

Odga ~
I LOVE the positive thoughts!

I have adopted your idea of praying for XH every day. It feels good to wish him good thoughts!

You sound great!!!!!
