Pam,
I haven't started one. Maybe I'll just hang my hat here for awhile. I don't think Deb will mind. It will save others from having to look for the two of us in two different places!

If I gather the energy, I may do some painting this weekend.
Sunday is suppose to be yucky here again, so outside stuff will be out.

Pattie,

Of course you can post here! Silly!

Graduation party is here tomorrow! At 5pm.

Planted more veggies and some herbs yesterday, was out in the garden at 6:30am.

We stained the deck yesterday and will put things back on the deck today. Graduation is today.

And we will be cleaning inside today and getting some food together for tomorrow. Will cook the hams later.

Big storm coming! The wind has picked up big time! My poor transplants will be ruined. Sick of those storms we keep having!

Last night we went to a couple's house; ate and played cards. Didn't get to bed until late!

H had a bill changed to my name; it was for the frigerator to be fixed. Glad I have the tax checks in a saving account with my name, it will end up being used to pay bills I think he is in the "fighting" mode now. He has been refusing to pay my dental bills also and I'm sure he has not paid my medical! (I'll keep my thoughts to myself about this, for fear that I will be shot down by someone here).

This whole thing has been extremely hard, Dbing is hard when your S continues to [censored] up crap to make you dislike them...
This will be the first time I have H in the home since he signed those checks. There is no friendliness anymore, at least by him. I have been dark and it seems to get even darker by me doing so. But I feel I had no other alternative at this point.

My friend from town came to the library friday, she has been so busy, thats why we have had no contact. She said it was her birthday. So when I got off of work, I bought a 6" cake and a candle for her, left it on her door.

Woke up this morning, looked out my window to find out while I was gone the yard got mowed, had to be FIL! What a wonderful man! My H was so like him and I thought he would be stable like his father, but my H is going down the MLC tunnel so he has changed!

H is arranging for someone from work to pick D up until she gets her license. She starts work where he works on Tuesday.

I'm ok though, have times of crying and depression, but I know it is normal and comes with the territory. Just part of the journey.

As LBS's we also go through stages just like MLCers.

Deb

Gee, Deb!

I saw our names up again and wondered what we were getting whacked for this time!!

Hope the storms hold off for the party!!! I'm real sick of them, too. We have so many branches, debris, etc. The creek down the hill swells and brings so much junk with it.
You'd think it was April!!

Haven't heard from the Pod person. Sons have been expressing their thoughts on him. I try very hard not to give them too much info, but it is getting hard. They are concerned b/c he has gotten so sporadic about contact. He doesn't return calls to them. They asked what they should do. I suggested they keep calling, show up, etc. As one of the gf's said, he isn't stable, you need to let him know you aren't going away.

I am going to look at couches, this one is shot!! Which means I'll get the "make over " bug for yet another room.

Have a great day!!!

Hi Pattie,

I have been wanting a new sofa as well.

Finally decided with trying to come up with a down payment for a house that new stuff like that would have to wait a while.

I still had things I wanted to see done on this house but they probably won't happen now.

Have a good weekend.

Pam,

The one I have now is 20+ years old and dogs have destroyed it. Since they are son's dogs, guess who is helping to pay for the new one??!!

Except for my bed, dresser and entertainment unit, there hasn't been any new stuff bought in 23 years. Take that back, I bought a recliner 4 years ago, but H took that with him.

Deb,

I got hit with a "new" bill last week. H had the billing address changed back to here. I know there is no point in giving it to him. So, the trailer is up for sale. K and her husband figure it will go pretty quickly. ( Of course it helped to let them know I was now making the payments.)

Hi Pattie,

I have no idea how old my sofa is I bought it used.

But that is something David and I didn't do was buy any new furniture so everything in here is really old.

So your horse trailer is for sale? That's a bummer. No more trail rides.

My dad sells trailers but I think you are a bit far for him to send customers!
