AD, I usually look at longer posts and think "Yikes, I'll come back to that one later". I enjoyed your story and I particularly liked the comments in brackets where Schnarch interjects. I'm not up to speed with crucibles yet. I vaguely remember them from school chemistry but being able to get your W into one then heating her with your Bunsen Burner sounds like a skill that needs careful cultivation. SD
