Journey, We are thrilled to have you here though we also aren't because it means "one more unhappy person"....but we are glad you are talking to us anyway. Please stay. This board has been crucial to our recovery. I've been shocked to gain insights when I wasn't expecting or thinking that I needed any. While this crowd will offer hugs and commiserate, they will also let you know when your "head isn't in the right place". This has been great. I was a total moron my first week on the board until Corri whipped me into shape, then MPT, and even Tim has slapped me a few times.

Yipes... this board is beginning to fuel my submissive fantasies. Thank you for the welcome and at some point I will be able to share more of my story but for now it will have to come out in bits and pieces. I thought this would be easier to do, given the anonymity of the board ( Journey is not my real name, hehe) yet I am finding it difficult to share. Hi Sea Hogs Wife, Thanks for your thoughts but they were a little off, in my case. I am the HD wife married to a man who does not like to be sexually aggressive. I have to be very careful about when and where I touch him. However, he still says that he wants me to initiate. Which basically means that he wants me to read his mind and know, instinctively, when he is horny and then make the first move. I was trying to think of subtle ways to make the first move while not freaking him out.
Thanks anyway for your thoughts. Oh and on the heater, he would never do that. We have a small ceramic heater but he would consider that action to be "too much effort" for such a little payoff. He DOES warm it up in his hands but I still freeze, unless it is the dead of summer. I am (usually) a thin person and feel cold all the time, like an old lady. lol

W and I joke that there's only a finite amount of heat between us, and only one of us can be warm at a time. It invariably seems that if I'm cold, she's hot and vice-versa. I've even thought about inventing a comforter that splits down the middle, maybe held together with Velcro, so it would be easier for the "hot" one to cool off, and the "cold" one to warm up!
Or you could do what my H does and double the covers over on your wife so that she is blazing hot while he has nothing on him but de birthday suit. (which btw, it is his bday today)
