...He said that if I was willing to tolerate the cold oil, he would do it more often. I said that in the summertime, I'd be glad to do the cold oil but that in wintertime it has to be heated; it is already hard enough for me to lay there naked in the freezing air. I suggested that I go heat it up and he didn't want to do that.
guys like to be the aggressor, but they want to know their partner enjoys, wants, and needs to have sex with them. His request for your occasional initiation of sex, is just a reassurance to him that you really do like it. The method doesn't matter as long as the message gets across.
As for the cold oil, if he puts just a few drops in his hand at a time, it will be warmer.
As for laying naked in the winter... catch him in a mood when he's trying to please you and ask him what can be done to add some sort of extra heater to the bedroom. Then turn it on an hour before bedtime, so the the room is too hot. Now you have the perfect excuse to lie naked or semi-naked to cool off. Make sure there is enough light (from a tv or night-light) to make your body visible to him, and let nature take its course.
