Regarding your nightstand, here is another practical question for you: I think your daughter is 5, right? What are your plans as far as storing your goodies? We currently do not have any goodies beyond lube and my vibrator which never sees the light of day, anyway.
While I have no idea where my W's vibe is, the only thing in the drawer is astroglide and a couple of these self-help books like SSM, PM and a couple others. Oh, we also have that velvet bag containing scratch-off cards. That was a total bust because they are really for people with "inhibition" issues and haven't mastered the art of HOM while telling their partner what they want.
Anyway, I do have a plan for the impending growth of "paraphernalia" collection. I have a hard, plastic photo-gear case that can take a padlock and be put either into our closet or under the bed. I think there are inexpensive gun cases at WalMart that would work in a similar way. I know that sounds a little too utilitarian. I would much rather have a velvet-lined, mahagony box with a lock on it. I guess we could just keep all the stuff in the Kama Sutra can on the top shelf of my closet where it is right now. D5 thinks she knows the contents already so it wouldn't be an enticement.
