Hi Deb,

Well, this sure wasn't the direction I wanted to get out of limbo.

But I hope everything turns out alright.

I am dreading next week and everything being final.

Did just spend an hour on the phone with Zoo and that helped me.

So the D is definitely going through. I was sort of hoping he might still change his mind and not sign.

But that isn't where he is, he is still very much in J's pocket.

It should be final Wed. or Thur. of next week. I think I need some sort of plan to handle that happening.

I know I can't be out of the house that quickly, unless I move into an apartment and I'm not sure that makes sense to spend money on rent.

Hi Pam - Definitely no sense in spending money on rent. Hope the househunting manages to distract you from the other event somewhat. I'm off on a long weekend, no online connections, but will be thinking of you. Till next week, here is a big hug coming your way. Slowly.

Well filled out some papers and mailing my prescription. Made me sad, self cherishing thoughts. Thinking that is last time I will use that insurance card and my last order of Zoloft.

I am going to see a new doctor next Friday just to go over with her what the doctor in Louisville told me about going off of the Zoloft.

Just a bit nervous after what happened before. Trying to be very careful and do this the right way this time!

Realtor just called and she has 4 houses scheduled for us to look at this evening. Bad thing is she is now in a hurry to get to some sort of retirement party.

I hope she doesn't rush me too much.

Haven't heard from my A so as far as I know it is a go for me to sign the settlement tomorrow afternoon. Probably get mailed Tuesday and David will possibly be able to sign as early as Wednesday. So it is almost over now.

Has been a long journey and it doesn't look like we are going to even end up friends now. Maybe that will be easier I'm not sure really.

Dreary old rainy day here, they always sort of bring me down.

Typing that reminded me of a sign on a church I pass, "A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition"

So if we all smile will the clouds go away?

GOod Morning Pam -

I'll send a big smile your way if it helps!

You know what they say about house hunting - you'll pretty much know when you pull up to the curb if you will like the place or not. I am sure you will get through all four places easily.

If you need to take the time to look through them - then take that time. Take a pad of paper and jot down the + and - of each place so you can go home and make a list if you need to.

And if the Realtor is in such a hurry that she'd walk away from a potential sale, then she might not be the person you want to work with anyway. If the party is her priority, then you might not be.

But have fun...I remember when my H and I were first looking and walked into a place that had bright orange countertops and dark (almost black) cabinets. (Sorry folks if you have these too, but they were really old too!) Then it had a propane gas tank buried in the back yard because the woman was scared of a natural gas explosion if she used that - like propane in the backyard couldn't blow too???

Have fun, pretend you are on the show House Hunters...then come back and tell us about them.

I'm not sure what our weekend plans are given recent developments ( ) but will try to check in here.

Hang in there. Have fun getting ready to move - remember it is an adventure! Like the church sign says - it is all in the attitude.
