Thinking about sending this e-mail. Would like some input on whether I should wait a little bit longer to ask him.
Hi,
Talked with Beth and she is sitting up for me to look at some houses this week. Wondering if I find something I want to go ahead and make an offer on if you would consider buying me out of our house?
I am not sure I would be able to get a loan as long as I am on the mortgage on this house.
I figure if you could give me $xx now and the other $xx - $xx or whatever after the house sells it would not be that much for you to refinance the house and you could get a better interest rate before it goes up any more.

My suggestion is that you do some more due diligence first...check with your bank (perhaps your realtor could guide you, too!) about "bridge loans" -- they are specifically designed to help people make the transition from one house to another. I'm not suggestion you GET one right now but have the pertinent information about it.
Also, you could look into using a home equity line (NOT LOAN) for the same purpose.
After you have that info I suppose you could consider sending the email...at any rate, I would leave off the last paragraph...too much explaining.

Picture yourself in your own house. One that is just the way you want it. Where did you place the furniture? Did you plant new flowers for the summer? ETC....
Please do take the suggestion about the bridge loan. Don't send the last paragraph.
