WOW!
NICE!
WOW! It blew my mind to read the definitions! How did it ever slip into usage the way in which it has?! VERY FUNNY.

If you can't be happy where you are, it's a cinch you can't be happy where you ain't. ~ Charles ''Tremendous'' Jones

Sticking with just positives

+++ NG asked me to drop him off at work, and come over for lunch - Fridays I work from home, so this was entirely agreeable - we had fun lunch

+++ We negotiated for the new house, NG had set up the meeting with landlord and current tenant. Contrary to my initial impression, NG seems quite keen to move. We had also figured that after the initial period of settling in, we should be able to manage on his salary, without dipping into our savings. Yea.

Feeling much stronger emotionally. Must now tackle some of the negatives I've been ruthlessly ignoring. Sigh. Tomorrow. Slowly

That was my accident. I had it on five and pushed rate and just before it went I jerked the mouse and it went back to one. I TRIED to change it.

Very sorry. I was glad to see someone added to it as it wouldn't let me do anything.

But please know it was supposed to be five.

Hey there, Slowly.

I'd have rated ya but there'd have to be as many stars as there are in the sky!!!!

Great to hear that y'all have found a way to make the move work for you. Yippee! Now, please get the guest room ready for us when you move in.

Hi Betsey - I like your assignments, they are so different OK, I'll bite. Actually, I had the whole thing written up to include all 6 definitions, but I guess this BB does not like it, after several aborted attempts, here is the shorter one:

Nice - Etymology Middle English, foolish, wanton, from Old French, from Latin nescius ignorant, from nescire not to know. And of course, pleasant and agreeable comes up as only the 4th definition.

But, hey, what's the definition of slow? Etymology Middle English, from Old English slAw; akin to Old High German slEo dull - retarded is the first

Seems like NG and I are better matched than I thought Well, I do see the point, but if I'm to stay slow, and yes, it has helped me in this sitch, then my love will have to stay nice guy, I think in time he will agree some of him has been foolish
