Good Morning

Hi grok, yep like most things in life, it is good and ill.

MG, thank you for the kind words. And condolences. Yes, I too feel we posters are anonymous, yet not strangers. A kinship, friendship, connection forged in some of the most difficult times.

Today was an early rise, 4:30 am. Harkens back to those two hour daily commutes to the city. The same city my Mom and I are travelling to this morning; driving into the rising sun. For today is my eldest son’s convocation. Bachelor of Architecture.

Like my youngest son, the eldest has decided to continue his education. Pursuing his Masters degree over the next two years. And, he got full time employment as an Architect for over the summer. He was actually approached while in university to come work for this firm. Indications are that the summer position will likely, if funding and such pans out, be rolled into a full time position. One which he could work and complete his Master’s program. It’s all early, still rather exciting though.

Well, I best get going. Got a big day ahead of us of here. After the ceremony son and DIL have invited all of us - me, Grandma, her parents, the siblings who can attend - back to their house for a BBQ and visit. It’s an early morning and going to be a late night.

And look at that, I’m at 100 posts, I’ll have to start a new thread soon. smile

Feelings are fleeting.
Be better, not bitter.
Love the person, forgive the sin.
