Great progress, Betsey.

But you don't need me to tell you that. I do think he is working on his feelings...especially the intimacy piece which will have to come last for him becauses he really does NOT want to hurt you, I think.

But the clues are there. And he IS noticing your sexy side! So think about how you want to spend your last single days, girl. GO have fun with the gang....make a plan for how you will continue once you are together again. See this as your prep time because Mr Wonderful is comin home!

Laurie,

I sent you messages from 2 accounts but they came back as undeliverable. Do you know of any problems with your yahoo account? If not, try me at:

Well, Cathy, don't be too much in awe. I only ride, darling! I'm way too distracted to actually drive one of those things. D has a Harley (and a Yamaha) and Mr. Wonderful has a Yamaha. A couple years ago, Mr. W. almost bought me a turquoise sportster.... which he said would look awesome with me at the helm.

Well, I know that I'd crash coming out of the parking lot! I'm a much happier passenger, because I just get to zone out and not pay attention.

Should I get a leather DO-RAG to match????

I say go for the thrill! There is nothing better to clear the cobwebs than a ride on a bike (not a bicycle). Something about the air pockets and being out with nature to help you get back to basics.

But if you find a Harley bus stop, lemme know. I'll be there with you!

So is this a new abbreviation for you now to go along with all of your other wonderful names that you've accumulated on the BB------HDM (harley davidson momma). LOL

Thanks for your response above. I understand where you're coming from now. I guess my waters are still a bit mirky so I'm not ready for that plunge and I truly hope that I don't mess anything up here in the next few weeks by saying the wrong thing to WAS.

You're the greatest Bets......BTW - next time you visit a DBer, please be sure to share the specifics...I mean you were holding out about CabanaBoy!!!!! Who else are you holding out about? TripleJ, Merrick??? etc... Tootles..............

Hey Betsey -

I have to point out, going out on a bike (yes, a bicycle!) is *also* great for getting rid of the cobwebs - nothing like enjoying the fruits of your efforts! Just the gentle hum of the freewheel and the rhythm of the pedalling.... I once tried an exercise bike and couldn't bear it for more than a few seconds - fancy all that effort for going NOWHERE!

Interesting reading your posts Betsey, lots of food for thought. Glad you're human too, and have the occasional good bawl!

Hi Betsey,
I don't have much to add most everyone has said what I would.

I'm having one of those hard days again.

Crying is good for you.I had a really good cry friday in the middle of the night.
I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of those for the next few days.

I hope you have a wonderful night.
I'm going to be on all night.I'm going to reread a lot of the piecing threads.I need the hope.I have run out again.

Later Friend.

Briget,

There's always hope, darlin'. ALWAYS. As long as you believe in you, there is hope.

Crying can be good. I'm sick of doing my share of saltwater production, though. Let's wish it away, shall we?

Why, thank you, Betsey.
That was very sweet of you.
Wish I could say I had a great day planned, but I am really just getting ready to go to work. Late again, as usual!!!

Thanks, too, Slowly.

I'll think up something nutty to do to celebrate the day. NOTE: I said "nutty," and did not at all mean it in a crazymaking sort of way....
