Bets,
i'm glad to see your mood is improving. i was in a funk yesterday because of my anniversary, but I'm feeling better today. Hang in there things will get better soon.

Your daughter sounds like a very observant and smart girl. Let her help you DB.

See you later,

Your d is AWESOME! WOW!

The plus of this is (hopefully) she will learn about sticking to your guns and have a wonderful M later in life.

Betsey,

Your daughter sounds awesome - in fact she sounds like . . . hmmm, oh yeah - YOU! What a thoughtful, considerate, insightful, wonderful family you have.

I have experienced personal tragedy with similar to your D7's TA. An ex in fact. And the embarassment and shame of the community made the pain even harder to bear. Their pain must have been extraordinary to take such a step and the mourning is even harder without the proper outlets. You are blessed Betsey for your thoughtfulness and the caring you take with all people.

What great posts today! Thanks!

After this morning's post, I had a little surprise arrive at my office via delivery lady. I recognized her from a recent delivery and a slow smile spread across my face.

She set a gorgeous vase, filled with beautiful, spring flowers on my desk and waved goodbye.

Nevanna,

I have been meaning to reply to your insight to the loneliness of her death mirroring her life. How true. In fact, when D7's special ed teacher called me today, we discussed this.

She's going to send home this lady's mother's address so I can acknowledge this by a card.

What really saddens me is that I invited her out to dinner at that art show, which happened to be my birthday. I could tell she wanted to go, but she hemmed. I finally said, "For crying out loud, S, I'm paying! It's my birthday gift to me! Please come!" She ultimately said no.

I spoke to Mr. Wonderful about this yesterday and told him I want to pay for a hole sponsorship in our charity golf tournament and put her name up there so she knows she isn't forgotten. He agreed that it was a good idea. (I do have them from time to time! )

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. They are appreciated.

Betsey

Sound to me, Betz, you have a winner of a C there! I'd get the date planner out and start setting up weekly session for some couch time! Wow ... wouldn't it be something if these were the seeds to aspire to be a SBT of the next generation ... how noble! ... and what about having a DB coach of the future in the family?

OK ... so I tend to carry things a bit far ... have ya notice?

'til later,
KAW

Bets,
I too am interested in hearing more about the flowers. Enlighten us.

I also want to thank you for the great advice you have given me. i posted to others about how you all have helped me so much. You, Mal, RJ, Halo, totally, joanne, slowly, just to name a few. Thank you all and if I have left some one out thank you also.

I'm about to make a big step next week and call my W. I have to show her I can be her friend. I really could use advice on what to say. More detail on my thread.
Thanks
