Rock, bttrfly, job, I was in bed by 10:30 pm last night. Lol.
I did get to usher in the New Year (as well as a bathroom break ) when the kids texted me at midnight. I wished them New Years as well, and was back asleep by probably 12:04 am. Haha.
Today, I’ve got diner plans with my Mom and Dad. I’m picking Dad up from the care home at 3:00 pm and the three of us are having roast diner at Mom’s. She wanted to cook and host, which doesn’t happen often when there are nine of us showing up. My house is the one that can handle such a crowd. I’m definitely down with enjoying her home cooking.
An afternoon/evening of cards and visiting, and a good meal. Awesome day!
