Kids are not happy, understandably as this is their first Christmas without the original core family.. and the biggest loss of no Grandma

Hello Mach

Be present in the moment. Enjoy the grandkids and time with family. It’s priceless. Let go that other cost you are associating it with.

Merry Christmas.

Thnx everyone. Youngest daughter slept at her place. She worked a straight month at the restaurant. Exhausted is an understatement.
Oldest and grand baby are asleep on couch, pancho liner ( super warm, highly recommend military ones), various blankets and such. Grand baby was telling everyone on Christmas she was coming to Punkins ( how it sounds when she says it) and was sleeping on the couch in front of tree. Well she did.
Santa duties were completed about 1/2 hr ago, stockings etc, milk n cookies. He even made coffee for me.
Merry Christmas everyone

Falling asleep on couch in front of the tree - so cute!

And coffee for you. What a thoughtful Santa. smile

Making memories for sure.

Years from now - as I just learned today - when the young ones reminisce, you’ll be surprised at the magic they are living. Ah, so precious are the eyes of a child.

Had New Years Eve with neighbor and her friends/family. It was nice to be invited. I stayed till about 230 am, helped cleanup.
She wants to go on a simple road trip to Savannah with me.. Cool. I wont consider it a date just yet. She is not married, no pictures in her house, no ring ( no I didnt ask), and her family from Manhatten liked me. Italians, and they brought their A game with the home made deserts..
Good time.
And today, my youngest daughter is moving in.. It will be nice to have her in the house.

Italians always bring their A game when it comes to food.
