It's been a LOOOOOOONG time since I've been on the DB website.

I was in the thick of the pick-me-dance late in 2015.
Divorced as of May 2016.

Lots of things have happened - the EXWW remarried the guy she left me for, but realized he was a creep spying on all of my kids with hidden cameras - serving jail time now. There was plenty of reasons he was getting divorced when he struck up the convo with my EXWW! LOL. She's divorced him 9 months later and started dating a married man. Yikes. That tiger never changed her stripes.

It took a couple years after the divorce, but I healed. Lots of ups and down, a long-term girlfriend later, 2 of the 3 kids out of the house. Lots of counseling, knowing who I really am, getting better at setting boundaries, and being OK in my own skin - which is still a work in progress, and I gained the Covid 15 (although I never have had that nasty bug yet!).

I am forever grateful for those of you who were here 6/7 years ago. Sandi2 especially. I noticed she stopped posting last year, according to what I could find. I hope and pray all is well with her. There were many of you who chimed in back then. If you did, thank you. There is always hope - it's tough to see in the middle of the dark valley - but never give up that hope. God Bless. Trumpet

Very sorry to hear about OM's treatment of your kids. That's my worst nightmare with my young son and daughter living with ExW's OM2 part-time. Glad he was caught and in jail though. How are your kids doing?

Seems crazy your ExW is now dating another married man. Never learns, huh? Tiger's stripes and all that.

Sandi2's postings/logins just fell off a year or more ago. Everyone here hopes for the best but fears the worst.

I haven't read your threads, but plan to go back and do so when I get the chance.

Trumpet, wow, a pedophile for an OM?! I'm glad he's serving jail time and presumedly registered as a sex offender--and that your XW had enough wisdom to drop his arse--so your kids and presumedly other kids are safer in the future.

I miss sandi too. she was amazing during my sitch. Such insight and perspective. Miss her so much.

I'm ever grateful to Sandi too. Between her and SteveLW, you two must have touched hundreds of lives in a positive way. I cannot thank both you enough. I'm paying forward on narc support groups with the DB principles I've learnt here.
