Well, the whole thing is kind of a moot point at this stage anyway. He's taking his GED next month, and after that is joining the national guard and going to college. So he's going to bartend up until he leaves for basic training.

The whole opposite schedule has driven me crazy from the start, and I know it's wearing on him. I think he's planning on bartending some, on the side, while he's in school. He's also applied for several different jobs, even interviewed for them, over the last couple of months, but none of those have turned out.

What he's started to do lately is go to bed earlier, anyway. His hours got cut at his current job, so now he only works Friday/Saturday. Which is another reason for the move back to his mom's house--he's making less money, again. Although I also think he's looking forward to the time with his family, and that may be another reason for it--he told me last night how much fun he was going to have, in his old room at the house, and all the things he was going to do.

In a weird way, it's like we're moving through the beginning stages of our R again. This reminds me of when they first bought the house, before we got engaged (the house is actually in H's name, even though it is his mom's). He was talking about how I can come over and hang out with him and his family, and all the things we're going to do.
