I think that's why the story keeps changing... Which is why, as much as it bugs me, I'm not going to point out the inconsistencies. If it helps him cope, that's fine, I don't really care. I just wish I didn't have to hear it. He started doing this around the time his brothers got back from Kuwait. So I just go along with it whenever he says that.

It was weird for me, too, since I would go into his job with his brother or his mom. While we were still officially seperated. And I knew he had gone around and told a lot of people that we were getting a D. It felt really weird being introduced to the owner as the W, since he had turned down a management position using the excuse the he was "going through a D."

I do think he would have come home sooner if it weren't for that, though. He thought he had "made the right decision," and therefore needed to stick with it. I just had to be patient...
