Not that it's a debate... but KML... I totally made the same connections. Perhaps that is because I have lived long enough to remember the days when I was told I didn't have the right to be w my dying wife in a hospital or adopt a child because I might spew my "perversion" on them.

Perhaps a level of compassion could be shown here. There is level of struggle and pain that comes with being an LGBTQ+ person. Whatever side you fall on - A little empathy never hurt anyone...
