For anyone that is interested, here is the reality, albeit depressing of what it looks like if I decided to get in to the dating market.

General facts of me:
Late 30s
Divorced
2 young kids
High cost of living state, in a medium cost of living in a high cost of living burb
Average height
Below average weight
Average looks
Hairline is holding on like the Spartans towards the end of 300. Some losses and a full blown defeat is near
Average health
Above average income
Not in touch at all with modern culture and probably considered centrist, libertarian or conservative depending on who is labeling

What I would be looking for whether its right, wrong or unreasonable:
22 - 36 year old Female
Height - shorter than me
Weight - 20lbs or more less than me
Looks - above average
Personality - someone not extreme, not in to todays culture
No stds
Lives close by as in the same city
Single or divorced

Already we know where this is going. My cities census is old, I'm going to say there is 250k people here. For simple math, will say half are women. 125k remaining. 34% of females here are under 18 and over 65, no idea how many is my dating range, lets say 30%. 37500 remaining.

Height...cant find good data. Lets shave off 1 in 10 being my height or taller, thats prob a low estimate. 33750 remaining. Lets shave off 5 in 10 in regards to weighing less than I, and to not double count those taller and bigger.
16875 prospects remaining.

Above average looks is the remaining amount...based on the criteria we already looked at and the age range here, lets say 80 percent remaining are above average. 13500 remain.

A woman of my criteria is unlikely to be single or divorced. Lets say 30% remain. 4050 prospects.

Stds are rampant here and I'm guessing women in the range I'm looking at have more fun than average. 2500 remain.

At this point Im going to ignore personality. We'll call it 2500.

Now, out of these 2500 prospective dates, how many are ok with a guy who is under 6ft? 1500 left.
A guy who is below average (US) weight. 1300 left.
Divorced with kids. 300 left.
Average looks but will be bald. 150 left.
Take in my personality and being counter modern culture and living is a far left authoritarian city. 25 left?
Will settle for above average income - 20 left.

There is maybe twenty prospects here that I would date and that would potentially date me. I'm sure its less than I estimated here. I'm going to call it 10. Maybe ten in 125k that I'd date and would date me.

On top of that, I don't even want to date, cant afford it, and would rather use money on kids.
0 remaining. Bachelor life it is.

For this reason as I've accepted this information, I'd rather repurpose my time from pleasure, to making the world less insane.
