IMHO, the ultimate f*cking music is Dead Can Dance. It's an incredibly talented duet out of SuperDave's backyard with a medieval, euro-tribal-middle-eastern sound. It's a little dark and oddly, I was turned onto it by a friend who happens to be big into bdsm though I'm not into that scene. It just has a dark beauty to it and some throbbing rhythms.

You noticed! I took them off when I was feeling a little LD. Today I'm feeling like a buck...and I'm in the mood to

I do think we all need LD alter egos. I used SD when feeling LD but will be more imaginitive next time. NoMojoBlue uses MegaMojo for when times are good. It adds a little extra dimension don't you think?

SuperDave-

Oh man, you are going to absolutely kill me for this....Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry of Dead Can Dance are from Australia. When you said you hadn't heard of them I figured I had made a huge mistake so I looked them up. Oh man, my bad. I'm very embarrassed.

No worries mate!

Try listening to some Led Zeppelin stuff for British sex rock. Most of their tracks feature very long throbbing buildups to a crescendo that includes rhythmic "Ahh, Ahhh, Ahhhh, Ahhhhh" followed by a tail out of "Baby, Baby.., Baby..."
Listen to "Dazed and Confused". Lyrics you will identify with and a feeling of unrelenting, agonising, unrequited desire. If ever there was a theme tune for SSM this is it.

No kidding!! I saw them (a L - O - N - G time ago) in Montreal, and the day after the concert, my dad was reading the review (don't ask me why), and the reviewer was mentioning Jimmy Page's "good-natured sexual posturing" onstage (that phrase has ALWAYS stuck with me!). Dad was mystified, as much by why I would want to watch something like that as by what "sexual posturing" might mean....

I did permanent damage to my ear drums when I was 14 by putting my head in between two speakers and playing "In the Evening" at full volume. I'm sure this is somehow ADD related.
