So sorry Gigi. I think getting some legal advice is the exact right thing to do. Sounds to me like he is trying to scare/bully you into taking less than what you are entitled to. At the end of the day, if he wants a divorce, you can’t stop him. However, you do not have to jump every time he tells you to. Talk to a lawyer and take your time. There is no rush to do anything. Having said that, the sooner you have an agreement in place, the better. Also...WASs tend to be more agreeable and generous in the early days.
