Getting a roommate here to help with rent would be way more practical than my abandoning the life I’ve made here in the last thirteen years, though I do wish my parents lived in the same state or even side of the country. My current job happened before BD and was just meant to be a fun PT thing for extra money alongside PT teaching. I’ve been trying to transition into a career position somewhere and can market myself for many different fields, but it hasn’t happened yet. Still sending out applications, and though listings have slowed since the pandemic, I think they’re starting to pick up a bit again. I think persistence (and faith) will be helpful for me here!
