Wow it sounds like you caught it in the nick of time! My dad had a "sudden" heart attack, but then later admitted there had been warning signs all over the place that he kept ignoring. One was when he was out mowing (self-propelled mower) he would have to stop at the end of every row to catch his breath! A lot of chest pains and shortness of breath too. He ended up getting quintuple bypass surgery, then later a pacemaker/ defibrillator. He lived another 10 years but was never the same again. So be glad you caught it before it went that far. And if you smoke, please stop asap! That was the main contributor to my dad's clogged arteries.
