I'm a little behind here, but Betsey, I LOVED your story -- it totally cracked me up! Unfortunately, my dh is rather more nosey than yours, so I could never "pretend" to date. He'd ask me flat out where I was going and with whom.
As for chocolate -- we have a store near us that makes its own -- the milk and dark chocolate-covered pretzels and Oreos are to DIE for!!! Hmmmm.......
