So, Betsey, I guess the lesson here is that sometimes we assume things to be one way when they are really quite possibly another. I think I will direct C4H over to that little lawnmowing story to show him what assumptions can do. Had you not seen your neighbor for awhile and she had gone on assuming that you mowed her lawn because you were tired of living next to a trashy yard, well, things could have gotten to the point of being unrepairable. I know how easy it is for silly misunderstandings to blow out of control.
As a matter of fact, I'll mull that over today. I am in a spot now where it seems easier to assume something than to just ask the obvious question.
