Wow, Betsey!

That was really funny and positive! I have been inspired by your weight loss success, and bought a book about the Atkins programme. This is a big turnaround, because I am more of the vegetarian bent of mind - was VEGAN for years, and that's difficult, I can tell you. Not difficult to keep to at home, but when you go to friends' homes and out to restaurants, and while travelling.

Anyway, it is rather hard being on a diet when you teach cooking classes! But I am determined to lose a dress size and look FAB instead of merely OK, as I am not techinically overweight. A mere 8 kilos would make a difference.

I have had a hiccup recently, I wonder if you could spare the time to nip over to my thread? Although I am grappling with what to do, I feel strangely calm as well, sort of thinking about what would be the best approach, instead of just reacting immediately. Good for me!

I know I am going to have a great summer, no matter what.

I am enjoying this thread with all the CONSTRUCTIVE discussion going on.

All the best in your situation, Betsey!

YOU ROCK ! ! ! ! !

It's almost too funny to believe! Is owing $15.67 a felony in Colorado? Or does the state just move in and take custody of your kids for this heinous crime?

Thanks for showing some of us newcomers exactly how it's done! As you know, I find this part hard. But you've just given me a little gift that I'll pocket and pull out soon when the time is right. I was just thinking about either skipping Thursday's racing, since last time I did this he ASSumed I was on a date - or running out quickly afterwards as if I had something to do.

Lessons learned:
- You're good, oooooohhhhh so very good!

- Sometimes it's very funny to watch your spouse get all fouled up on the rope you just dropped.

Way to go, Betsey!
Hugs,

I've been separated and out of apt. for 6 weeks. I feel my W thinks she is a failure as well. She's carries alot of childhood baggage that she is going to a C for. Issues like almost put up for adoption, mom stepdad alcholics and lot of fights, dad in and out of her life, rape, abortion. Help??? I am the only thing other than her g-ma that has ever been stable and dhe will admit that but is ready to D cuz we argue about everday things to much??? I stupidly in anger last summer said D in a couple real argument we were having and know I think she is trying to get out b4 I can hurt her but w/ all other baggage in the way she can't see I would never leave she and our 2 year old daughter are my life. Divoted H that will never give up on family but very down and depressed that this would ever happen. out of nowhere she can't forgive even though I thought this was forgiven last summer. Do I let her figure out her baggage????? Any advice would be great.

Betsey;

Woo Hoo! LOVED the story. And his reaction to it is priceless. I'm going to keep hold of this particular story for a long time to come. Hmmm - the appearance of dating! Love it! Keep up the great work - and thanks again for stopping by to see me. I always appreciate your visits.

Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!! I'm laughing all the way from my post yesterday to current. Berto, you made my day!!! (Thanks for the plug, Kitti!)

I don't have anything to tell, really. I've been extremely productive today, though. After a soul wrenching conversation with a regularly visiting Franciscan priest after mass (who is BEYOND wonderful and the coolest priest on the planet), I was feeling restless. I decided to show myself what I'm really made of... and I figured that an opportunity would present itself during the day somehow.

The girls and I got home from mass and a trip to Baskin Robbins when I decided to mow the lawn. (UGH! I hate yard work! I will let you all in on a little secret--I miss my a$$hole H most during the summer!) You know I'm kidding on the strong language stuff, but I really hate being Mrs. Scott Lawnmower-Toting-Broad.

I finished the front yard and looked across at my neighbors yard across the street... I had seen them leave together with stern expressions on their faces, and figured they needed a break. So I went over and mowed their horrendously overgrown yard!

Their D18 caught me sweeping up the grass trimmings, but I made her swear she wouldn't tell her parents who did it. SHE was shocked, though.

After finishing the backyard, I figured I was deserving of a mini nervous breakdown, so I let my tears fall for a few minutes and then got busy wiping down lawn furniture and picking up thorny weeds. Did I mention how much I hate doing yard work? Again?

I've returned to my normal self, thanks to watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for the thousandth time in my life. One day I want to become that girl who becomes a blueberry and need to be juiced...

I'll try and catch up on some more posts tomorrow after I get to work. I've got a massive work load waiting for me, so I'm not sure how much I'll get done.

Uh oh, I hear laundry calling my name...

Hi Bestey,
Don't you just hate laundry. It is a never ending battle. If they would go naked for one day I might be able to catch up.

I'm glad you had a productive day. I spent mine getting a sun burn on top of my sunburn.I know bad girl.I forgot to use sunblock.I will never learn.

Crying is good for you.but of course chocolate is better for you.

So you want to be juiced? Very funny.Or is it you just want to be squeezed.

Have a good night Miss Bluebery.

Later Friend.

Hey, what if you need to be juiced and yet are NOT a very large blueberry?

Hmmmm...
