Family stuff is always hard isn't it? I think H and I have been lucky in that family relations went relatively unscathed throughout this whole thing - on both sides even.
I wish I could say the same for some of our friends though. Suffice it to say that it helps you know who your friends are.
You did great on the whole tickets v. party thing. You did the right thing - hard as it may have been. You showed you are better people by not letting the kids involved be the losers for having adults around them that can't always agree on things.
How are things now that school has started? I hoped life would settle down, but no such luck - there are three things on the calendar for tonight and my H has to work late. I had to call in the reinforcements (MIL) LOL!
