We have discussed it on the board in the past, it is not enabling it is being a good parent. You would do the same.
My Father in law was dead set against the D. He mows her lawn every week. He’s just helping his daughter.
I have no ill will against my in laws.
LH, I have no issues with their being good parents. The problem is they have always looked out for their personal benefit even if it meant their daughter suffered. They are narcissists and always resented the loss of control over their daughter once she had a family of her own
