Hey Turbine - I don't often stop by but noticed you today especially since my son-in-law is on the Lincoln in the Persian Gulf right now and so I read the most recent couple of posts.
For a man who has gone through h@ll - you are doing well. The 2.0 is just a start. As a tech guy I know that .0 versions always need some patching before they get running well. Like a newly designed machine that hits the real world.
You'll get there. You have your family, your Faith and your career. You are finding your own future.
It will be good.
Your STBX will soon be no longer front and centre but she will be there in your heart, your mind and your soul for a long time to come. And that's OK. Remember the good times, the positive times. Try not to re-colour / re-write history. What YOU remember and how you remember it is YOUR past. There may come a time, like it did for me that you'll hear things that you didn't know about or that you glossed over like what your therapist suggested. It happened to me. None of that matters. It is the past. There is no right nor wrong interpretation.
Live the best life you can. Know that you are worthy. Know that you are loved.
