What fueled my fire to keep fighting for him and being a doormat is that I convinced myself that if I would've been a better wife he wouldn't be with OW. I convinced myself that I was the most important person in his life, he just didn't see himself as good enough to be with me. All of that was an excuse not to move forward and I see that now. I do know and accept my part in the breakdown of the marriage. Good for you for moving on and being excited for your future, I'm going to channel your energy.
