At any rate, this was another test. I think that, given the dynamic you have set up in your house, she both hates the sexual attention but also in a weird way, relies on it. It is "hairdog" to her. When you take that away, she is no longer sure of the rules around there and no longer as certain of your love.
I think you did the RIGHT thing by playing it cool and 'passing' the test. She is trying to bait you into being the old Hairdoggie. Hang in there and wait her out. I am anxious to see if she brings it up and what she has to say about your experiment.
By the way, for all you folks who don't live in MO, it is freakin cold here these days (very uncharacteristic for this time of year) and so I personally find it odd that she picked last night to feel hot.
