Mon: Got home late(r) after tire appointment. Took YS when I got home. No question from W, but a couple of references about how dinner / everything else is late because Daddy come home late.
Initiated very little in terms of conversation. Goodnight, but only kids get goodnight kiss and ILY.
Today? YS gets kiss goodbye and ILY. And then IC appt. this afternoon. We’ll see.
Thoughts on process so far Steve? I know it’s early....
I’ve also thought about joining an area Catholic young-adult sports league. Get out, play sports, blow off steam, get in shape, meet others. Have to dig around for that later.
Steve—I guess where I’m at with all this is: just feel incredibly lonely. Teaching is a career where I can be in front of ~100 students a day and yet be by myself.
Not much in terms of convo’s with W, unless she tells me things.
Still no sex / intimacy.
I feel so distant from her, but I have noticed in the last week or so her doing more around the house—emptying the dishwasher. I take YS, and she cleans up dinner, makes OS lunch for school, does dishes. Progress? Don’t know.
Mostly my busy-ness is grading. So lots of solo time.
I’m glad that tomorrow W and the 2 S will be out in the evening and into Thurs.
The thought occurred to me in one of my classes that my tOSU Buckeyes will be in SoCal for the Rose Bowl—one thing for later in Dec. / Jan. Is to go to a watch party for the game (or bowl games).
Just need to figure out what to do with the time between now and then.
