I have had girls agree to meet after 2 or 3 email exchanges, I had others that just quit responding, some initially don't want to meet but want to chat more or talk on the phone, I have asked others out and they have said they will let me know but then I never heard from them again, I have had 2 that went dark on me, then re-initiated contact and when I engaged they went back dark again.

Do you remember me saying how OLD was the land of misfit toys? (a comment I stole from someone I went out with several times a few years ago) What you have now come to experience first hand and what you describe above is EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

But it's made worse by all of this mind-reading stuff. I swear reading this discussion is why so many women write on their OLD profile how they are so sick of the games! Is this really you Joseph? Or is this some remote version of you that is somehow being concocted based on some "dating coach" and his ideas? I just think you are losing so much of you! Just be you! Be authentic. What is going to happen is going to happen. You should be gauging her interest for you by meeting her - not by how often, when and what she says while contacting you.

I also have to wonder if it's not partly the types of girls you are attracted to and why. See for me a drink in hand in every picture would be a red flag not an asset - but that's me. Yes those types are fun to play with but they are also the flaky ones that are off chasing the next shiny thing in an instant. As for not "showing your hand" - I mean dude, plans change. It happens to me all the time - I'll have a wide open week which turns into being busy several days which also includes cancelled plans. I may be busy for Friday on Monday but then that changes on Wednesday - that's life.

The girls are hitting on much of this but I know you are just going to have to figure it out for yourself. It's just not seeming like it's been a lot of fun - and I'm only a spectator!
