The key though is that YOU DO learn from your mistakes. Did, the problem I see is that you haven't learned from your mistakes, and continue to make the same ones over and over again. This is an opportunity for self-reflection and awareness. Why haven't you learn from your previous missteps, and how can you fix it so you do from this point forward?
