and lastly ... do not tell your H you spoke to an attorney. This is fact finding, nothing more. Do not tell him you know he spoke to one ... he was probably fact finding too.

The first solicitor I saw explained the base process for all of the above. fair but very "production line" Second was hard core - tried to get me to go after everything, house, his pension, spousal support, future earnings etc Third was more moderate - encouraged 50/50 on everything and was interested in minimizing impact on our kids.
If it came to it, I would go with the third
It's interesting the different perspectives you received from each one. I think that's why it's important to interview at least a few. I received a name from a friend, so I plan to contact her. I just want to complete the whole financial picture prior to the visit. My stomach has been in knots all day.
I have no minor children, so the only negotiation we would need it expenses while they are in college - school, supplies, room and board, and any medical expenses that pop up. Auto insurance too. So glad they are out of the house. It's tough for them as it is. Can't imagine giving my kids up 50% of the time.
I have GAL plans tonight, tomorrow, and Friday night. So glad. Still working on Saturday and Sunday. Those days tend to be a bit rough. Lots of projects in the house that I can fall back on though.

I know I need to start a new thread. Could someone post me a link that explains how to attach this one to the new?
