Having a good weekend with S so far. I mean, we're just sitting at home, cause we're kind of broke, heh. But he's got lots of toys, I've got coffee, and I'm just trying to get the budget stuff done to figure out how I'm going pull off paying for all of the things I need to on a one-income basis.
But you know, despite the stress, we have food, the main bills are paid, and we're having a good day.
W will be keeping S overnight tomorrow night and through the day tomorrow. She's definitely upset that she doesn't get to spend as much time with him...
...although the thing is that she's really not spending that much less time with him. She's going to be working 50+ hrs per week for a while, and when she's at work, he's usually with someone else, so...stability is a good thing.
It doesn't matter where you go or what you do, if you are spending quality time with your S it's a win.
Enjoy it!

W picked up S for church this morning. Which is weird because W claims to be an atheist, but she's definitely trying to do better for S.
She was all dressed up in a dress. She saw me looking at her, I was smiling because I can tell she's making an effort for him, and also because frankly...she's pretty cute. She looked at me and said "don't look at me, I don't like you." I said "well, I can smile if I like. Plus, I'm not used to seeing you in a dress. You look nice."
She smiled, hid her face, then left.
I get it. She's TRIED to push me away, and frankly it worked. But that doesn't mean I don't think she's cute. Heh.
Either way, I have plans with a friend today, so I think it's going to be a pretty good day. Plus...I have coffee and an awesome guitar rig. S is going to spend time with W (which he's been asking for, and she has as well), so that's good. I'll see him around 7 this evening.
Cleaning out S's backpack, found a family picture he drew. It has one of OM's kids in it.
It's funny in a way. Heh.
W said "S hasn't seen him in a long time".
I said "Well, he remembers him apparently."
W - "It's sad that he doesn't get to see his friends."
M - "They wouldn't be friends had you not taken S around the kid's dad."
End of discussion.
More proof that I'm actually on the right track I believe. S will be home in a few minutes. I made dinner for him. Also spent a couple hours with a friend today and cleaned the house a lot.
I am. And yes, I did. I still have some time to respond to the motion to dismiss. Problem is that I've been too busy. But it's going to happen. I was able to acquire a copy of the signed MSA, so that's going to have a LOT of leverage.

You should get your L to make the point that S should be looked after by you rather than W using a child-minder as it's better for the child to be with a parent.
