Ok so I have a bit of a dilema. My S21 graduates on Monday oct 15th from Police academy, we just had a convo about who is coming. I asked if his mom was coming and he said he doesnt know. I asked him if he has spoken with her and he said no he texted once since she moved out which was Aug 26th. I gave him several options including me staying home if he wants and he said absolutely not. His GF is coming home from college just for the graduation. He thinks is going to be uncomfortable for her and anyone else that comes. He wants my parents and his grandmother from W's side to attend. I told him I have no problem with whatever he decides.
This is such a tough situation for these adult children, I know its easier for them as adults but its still hard. I told him we will make the best of the day no matter what and i would like to take him and his GF out to dinner after. He said he would let me know.
Great weekend of fun I had my first party without W and everyone had a blast. The UFC was crazy, the yankees vs redsox was on so it was a good night.
Busy week of work coming up, not looking forward to it but glad to be busy.
