The actress is called Julie Walters and is one of our best character actors. She started out as a comedian and is very well known over here. Another film of hers worth watching is "Billy Elliot" a story about a lad from a gritty northern mining town during the year long strike of 1984 who becomes a ballet dancer against the odds. SD
